“I was Adopted”

If you were adopted through American Home Finding, your records have been kept confidential.  You may contact AHFA at 641-682-3449 or email jgladson57@ahfa.org  to make a request for information from your records file.  Your file will be located and if possible (depending upon how much time has passed since your adoption) we may be able to release  information to you.

If a child or birthparent has, in writing, stated a desire to establish contact, that information will be kept on file.  If two parties have expressed a desire for contact, it may be possible to put those parties (birthparents, adoptees, siblings) in touch with one another.
