If your birth child was placed for adoption with American Home Finding Association, those records were kept  in a confidential file.  You may contact AHFA by telephoning 641-682-23449 or emailing jgladson57@ahfa.org to see what information can be released to you.

If a child or birthparent has, in writing, stated a desire to establish contact, that information will be kept on file.  If two parties have expressed a desire for contact, it may be possible to put those parties (birthparents, adoptees, siblings) in touch with one another.
